Seated Massage

Seated Accupressure Massage
Seated accupressure onsite massage is ideal for the workplace as it is carried out fully clothed, requires minimum space, and is a good way to reward your staff and reduce stress and RSI in the workplace. This method is also ideal for someone who has little time and just needs muscular tension released, maybe during lunch or tea break, even whilst shopping, to rest and recover.

Sports Massage
Sports massage is not only beneficial for post event injury, but can also benefit performance and help avoid injury by aiding muscles to be toned and be at optimum condition. Even a simple injury like back pain, incurred whilst gardening or DIY for example, can be relieved by using remedial/sports massage sometimes with specific stretching techniques increasing flexibility and aiding a more rapid recovery!!

Body Massage
Good for general wellbeing and relaxation. Helps to improve digestion, sleep patterns and is a great stress reliever and can help eliminate dependency on pain relief medication.

Abdominal Massage
Abdominal massage has been found to relieve constipation, bloating, dyspepsia & common digestive disorders ;additionaly stimulating a more efficient liver function;which can lead to improved energy levels , plus a more comfortable digestive process.

Respiratory Massage
Working deeply using specific techniques over the upper back/lung region is a great reliever. It helps clear mucus and sputum that builds up in the respiratory tract, following heavy illnesss or bouts of flu, bronchitis, cigarette smoking or from having been in contact with pollutants. The symptoms of Asthma and Emphysema are two... more serious conditions that can also be relieved using the methods as mentioned.

NB. With symptoms like stress, migraine and sports injuries, I sometimes use a combination of massage and laser therapy!

" Massage is the sharing of touch, hands on body,on head, hands or feet; yet massage goes further than skin deep; deeper even than muscles, tissue and bones........ a good caring massage penetrates right to the depth of your being!"

Massage alone is found to be benificial for improving:

  • muscle and skin tone
  • mobilisation of joints
  • blood and lymph circulation
  • sluggish digestive system
  • pain relief
  • stimulating the healing process
  • help prevent muscle and tendon injuries
  • promotes relaxation
  • removal of lung secretions
