Treatment tailored to your medical history and stage of Lymphoedema
Lymphoedema management is generally delivered in two stages, with your treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
Stage One: Intensive Treatment
Initially, appointments are scheduled closer together to provide regular treatment and support while we work to reduce swelling and improve fluid movement. Treatment may include manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, exercise and movement advice, and skincare.
Stage Two: Maintenance
Once your swelling is reduced and more stable, appointments are gradually spaced further apart. The focus then shifts to maintaining your progress and supporting you with long-term self-management, including compression, exercise, skincare and regular reviews when needed.
Medical Clearance & Safety
Medical clearance may be required for any health conditions which are contraindicated. We work within best-practice guidelines to ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate.
